Jim Foster originally gained national attention in Canada as the leader of the band 'Fosterchild', writing top ten hits such as Let Me Down Easy and I Need Somebody Tonight. For several years the bio closed here with the words.. "I'm working on a couple CDs...", until the spring of 2010, when independent label Quest Records announced the release of Jim’s "Lone Bird" CD.
